General Medicine

General Medicine, also referred to as Internal Medicine, is a branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and the non-surgical treatments of diseases that are related to the internal organs.

Internal medicine, commonly referred to as general medicine, is the area of medicine that deals with illnesses that affect your internal organs of all kinds. Physicians that practice general medicine diagnose and manage a wide range of illnesses.

General practitioners, often known as family doctors or internists, frequently establish a long-lasting relationship with you and offer continuity of care. They carry out standard examinations and treat common medical issues. If you require urgent or specialized care, they send you to other medical facilities or practitioners.

Pediatrics

Pediatrics is the area of medicine that deals with the wellbeing and medical treatment of newborns, young children, and teenagers from the age of birth to the age of 18. The Greek words "pais" (meaning "child") and "iatros" (meaning "doctor or healer") are combined to form the word "pediatrics," which means "healer of children."

A child up to the age of 15 (21 in some countries) who is a target of healthcare services is referred to as a pediatric patient. Neonates (0–28 days of life), infants (28–12 months), toddlers (1-3 years), preschoolers (3-5 years), school-age kids (6–10 years), and adolescents (11–16 years) are all considered pediatric patients.

Skin/Dermatology

Dermatologists identify and handle skin issues. They can also identify skin-related symptoms that may point to internal health issues, such as organ illness or dysfunction. Skin condition-related specialist diagnostic procedures are frequently carried out by dermatologists.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), there are five primary types of skin: oily, dry, normal, combination, and sensitive. Each skin type has its own set of unique characteristics and needs that can affect the look and feel of your complexion.

Dermatologists are responsible for diagnosing, treating and prescribing medicines to adults and children with skin conditions and illnesses. Dermatologists work broadly, covering everything from skin cancer to acne and even sometimes hair and nail conditions.
